[Vorstand] Invitation to meet and share

Dear friends,

this sounds like the heading of the diocesan consulting process in the 
diocese of Aachen, but it is the invitation to meet and share and 
promote with board and member of ewe and with interested people at 
Anne-Frank and in catholic student chaplaincy in Aachen.

The background: The last visit of a small delegation from ewe in Zambia 
in Germany is now more than 2,5 years ago. The focus at this time was on 
experiences of partnership in the past and the challenge of 
intercultural exchange for youth.

Meanwhile we had to certify as quality proved outsending organisation in 
international volunteer services. You guys supported this process with 
developing plans in case of emergency and with affirmation of places of 
employment for our german volunteers and a continuous supervision for 
the volunteers.

Now we are forced to renew the certificate. So we like to discuss with 
you our and your experiences with german volunteers, to learn and 
improve our standards.

We are also an incoming organisation for volunteers and you are 
outsending zambian volunteers. The governmental supporters now like to 
qualify also this *intercultural exchange*. So we have to improve our 
standards, values and motivations.

So we like to invite Agnes and Chrisencia to Germany for a *10 days stay 
from 14.-25.June*. During this time we have our *annual membermeeting* 
and this is also the time, when we do last*preparations of the german 
volunteers* 2018/ 2019.

Another issue (especially for Agnes) will be promoting and reflecting 
*Schoolfee-Project*. You know it was startet in 2014 by a group of 
german and zambian students, but at least forced by Anna-Lena and Lukas 
from *student chaplaincy (KHG) in Aachen*. The administration on our end 
was taken over by KHG. But at the end of the day the sustainable 
supporters are some single person like Mechthild, Hanna from 
summerschool, Lukas and a handful others and of cause the big donor ewe 
at Anne-Frank-School. We like to continue this successful project, but 
need a bigger base of supporting persons in our chaplaincy. So we like 
to interest more people via a benefiz event in june. We have not yet 
developed ideas, but we are looking forward to do this with a new 
generation of students.

Another point of interest is the *FairTravel-Projec*t. We like to share 
experiences, motivations and aims according to this.

If you agree with all this issues and you are also interested in this 
invitation, talk about in the team and give me your *agreement until 
14th february*, the start of the lenten season (the 5 days before the 
people in this region are out of control, because it's carnival! Chilala 
and Mbonyiwe are deeply involved - we will send photos)
