Zunächst mal herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Geburtstag, Irmela!

Ihr seht, unten kommt ein neuer Vorschlagvon Agnes.

Die Mitgliederversammlung in den Mai zu verlegen halte ich für nicht 
sinnvoll, da nicht nur Pfingstferien, sondern auch Feiertage die 
verfügbareb Termine sehr einschränken. Aber wir haben für den 6. Mai 
unseren Klausurtag geplant. Das würde passen und die 
Mitgliederversammlung wird sich mit Wahl und ggf. Satzungsänderungen und 
vielleicht auch Beitragserhöhungen befassen. Das ist auf Englisch schwer 
zu vermitteln und eher boring für alle Beteiligten.

Ich schlage daher 4.-14. Mai vor.

Kostenmäßig sind das ca. 700€ p.P. Flug, also günstiger als im Juli

Was meint Ihr? Bitte bis Freitag Bescheid geben.

This is really exciting news.  Thank you for the invitation.  Sr. 
Chrisencia would be very happy to be part of those sharings and 
promotions of the ewe and summerschool project, respectively.  Our 
answer to the invitation in YES because this will for sure strengthen 
our relationships and also enrich our operations of the projects on both 
ends I guess but is it possible to bring this invitation to May so that 
Sr. Chrisencia can also have a chance to participate and then go to 
school in June??

For the Summer school project, I can already take some pictures of the 
schools we have supported before and maybe record an interview with one 
of the beneficiaries and the school authorities, what do you think??


We are now preparing for the selection of the Zambian Volunteers

thanks very much for the exciting news from Germany. We are always happy 
to be invited to share our long lived relationship
Guido am afraid am not free the whole month of June, last year in June  
I followed a one month training in accounts so am supposed to do a 
second phase in June again this year. Is there a way you can adjust the 
dates for my sake? I really want to be present at that sharing because I 
think it will be very helpful for Agnes and I to be present.
I pray that it will be possible to do this

this sounds like the heading of the diocesan consulting process in the 
diocese of Aachen, but it is the invitation to meet and share and 
promote with board and member of ewe and with interested people at 
Anne-Frank and in catholic student chaplaincy in Aachen.

The background: The last visit of a small delegation from ewe in Zambia 
in Germany is now more than 2,5 years ago. The focus at this time was on 
experiences of partnership in the past and the challenge of 
intercultural exchange for youth.

Meanwhile we had to certify as quality proved outsending organisation in 
international volunteer services. You guys supported this process with 
developing plans in case of emergency and with affirmation of places of 
employment for our german volunteers and a continuous supervision for 
the volunteers.

Now we are forced to renew the certificate. So we like to discuss with 
you our and your experiences with german volunteers, to learn and 
improve our standards.

We are also an incoming organisation for volunteers and you are 
outsending zambian volunteers. The governmental supporters now like to 
qualify also this *intercultural exchange*. So we have to improve our 
standards, values and motivations.

So we like to invite Agnes and Chrisencia to Germany for a *10 days stay 
from 14.-25.June*. During this time we have our *annual membermeeting* 
and this is also the time, when we do last*preparations of the german 
volunteers* 2018/ 2019.

Another issue (especially for Agnes) will be promoting and reflecting 
*Schoolfee-Project*. You know it was startet in 2014 by a group of 
german and zambian students, but at least forced by Anna-Lena and Lukas 
from *student chaplaincy (KHG) in Aachen*. The administration on our end 
was taken over by KHG. But at the end of the day the sustainable 
supporters are some single person like Mechthild, Hanna from 
summerschool, Lukas and a handful others and of cause the big donor ewe 
at Anne-Frank-School. We like to continue this successful project, but 
need a bigger base of supporting persons in our chaplaincy. So we like 
to interest more people via a benefiz event in june. We have not yet 
developed ideas, but we are looking forward to do this with a new 
generation of students.

Another point of interest is the *FairTravel-Projec*t. We like to share 
experiences, motivations and aims according to this.

If you agree with all this issues and you are also interested in this 
invitation, talk about in the team and give me your *agreement until 
14th february*, the start of the lenten season (the 5 days before the 
people in this region are out of control, because it's carnival! Chilala 
and Mbonyiwe are deeply involved - we will send photos)
