[Vorstand] Zur Situation in Monze

Hallo zusammen,

hier einige Infos von Agnes, aus einer Mail bzgl Schoolfee. Fett ihre 
Antworten:

What is the situation in the diocese and in the Development Department?
*We resumed work last week on Wednesday, 3rd Februar.  We have 
continnued to work as we wait for the appointment of the new Bishop who 
will then appoint the Promoter for Development.  In the meantime DDO 
Managment is giving guidance on the operations of the Department.  I am 
yet to meet them on the subjects of ewe and school fees programs since i 
have been actively involved in the implementation of the two.*

We are still shocked about Solomon's death and very sad.
At the same time, we are worried about the future of the EWE in Zambia.
*Probably it is something not to worry about so much for now.  The only 
thing to worry about would be rising of the covid cases around the 
Diocese which may pause a challenge in bringing young people in one 
place for the selection process.  I  am yet to seek guidance on this and 
will give you feedback.*

*In order to be able to express our sadness about the loss of the great 
person Solomon, our friend and partner, and also to give some former 
volunteers the opportunity to express what meaning the encounter with 
Solomon Phiri has had for their lives, we have planned a special edition 
of our magazine ewe-aktuell, which will be published on 1 March. It will 
also be a condolence booklet for the Phiri family. What do you think of 
this idea?
*This is a very good idea and I am sure it will be something like a 
memorial book containing great works and committment for the fallen hero 
in ewe.  The Phiri family will also be happy and greatful to see that 
Solomon's works are appreciated and put in a reference book for those 
who would want to know who where the icons of ewe in the begining.  This 
can be done for any other person whom the program see as an icon.  I 
will try to do an orbitury aswell.*
