Dear Sister Chrisencia,
I must be really thrown off course by my retirement in May.
I forgot about your 25th anniversary in the Order! I apologise for that!
I have not yet arrived at my new stage of life and am trying to give my 
days and work a new structure.
It's not that I didn't think of it, but the current developments in 
Germany, the upcoming changes in the ewe in Zambia and Germany due to 
the death of Solomon and Bishop Moses and the still existing 
uncertainties in the deployment and exchange of volunteers have probably 
led to this.
So congratulations!
In a marriage, the silver wedding anniversary, i.e. 25 years of being 
married to each other, is an incisive phase in life: the children have 
usually moved out, grandchildren are not yet in sight and the couple is 
alone with each other and has to reacquaint themselves with each other, 
yes, it is something like a new start of the relationship. What do we 
have in common, what binds us together and what should our future 
together look like in the second half of life?
I can imagine that this is similar in religious life: looking back in 
gratitude at what has developed in 25 years and looking forward to what 
makes the community alive.
For this I wish you all the best and God's blessing, I think also in the 
name of the board of the ewe (we last exchanged ideas immediately after 
Solomon's death).
