Dear friends of the ewe in the diocese of Monze,
we are happy about the appointment of Fr. Raphael Mweempwa as Bishop of 
Monze and wish him a good start and God's blessing.
Maybe after the pandemic and when hopefully there is peace in Europe 
again, it will be possible to have an exchange with him personally about 
the work and the partnership of the ewe with the diocese of Monze.

In addition to the ongoing pandemic, we are very concerned about the 
peace in Europe threatened by Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
Therefore, we stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine and pray 
for peace in the world.
We wish you and the designated bishop Mweempwa all the best and God's 
blessing.
