It is really say if the Church is not perceived like that now when it is supposed to be a place of reconciliation, comfort, hope, and peace and not torture. I guess you have some work to do to save the image of the organisation and the church at large. we pray it works out well and that we will continue to attract some people to be part of the exchange under the church. <p>next year we will not send volunteers to Zambia, because we had
only one candidate, but missio accepted her before we had the
selection interview.</p>
<p>We don't know why the volunteer services seem to be no longer
attractive for youth. The catholic outsending organisations could
only staff two-thirds of the possible.</p>
<p>One reason may be, that catholic church in Germany has a big
problem of reputation: worldwide abuse of childs by priests, the
so called Peterspfennig a worldwide collection to support the
popes activities for the poor was used to buy luxury real estates
in London and in our diocese also abuse of young boys by a priest
(I know him ) and our suffragan bishop earns 120000€ from a dement
women for buying a private house, ...</p>
<p>All this makes it difficult to act as a catholic church
organisation with youth or find donors for social projects run by
catholic church.</p>
<p>I hope that we can save our good image and the seriosity of our
projects.</p>
<p>Yoko is finishing the next ewe-actual and I hope, that we can
publish it the week before christmas.So till soon!<br>
